Life has been insane over the past few weeks. Not even kidding you. Here's been my schedule:
Friday December 18 -
Got my hair cut (it's adorable). Met up with a friend from 2 summers ago. Fun. Crazy. Interesting to say the least.
Saturday December 19 -
Worked for a few hours at Eugene Field House before Kim let us go early. I then cleaned the apartment and Cassie and I had our old youth group over. It was SO fun. Except for the appearance of our mouse, who Alex has named Frank (he claims no one likes the name Frank). Little bugger came out 3 times!! Luckily our guest saw him and not me, cause I would've freaked. I'd already seen him 1x and that was enough! There haven't been any more sightings so hopefully he's gone.
Sunday December 20 -
I was in my parents kitchen, tripped on the step down, maybe over my own feet or the dog or my heel, I don't know. Anyway, knocked my knee out of place for a sec. It was just out and then right back in but man it hurt like a beast. I spent the next 3 days hoping it would stop being stiff!
Thursday December 24 -
Went to Christmas Eve service at City Church, which was wonderful. Helped Mom and Dad clean and wrap presents. Em and LUke came in town. Then we all went to Christmas Eve service at LPUMC.
Friday December 25 -
CHRISTMAS! I had a wonderful Christmas. Got everything I wanted and more (Sony Ereader? Ipod Nano? HECK YEAH!). Everyone loved the presents I gave them. Then we went and saw Up in the Air. It was good, and fun to see St. Louis and Dave and Dave's house in Lafayette Square (even if it was a bad scene) but a slightly depressing movie too.
Saturday December 26 -
We packed up and started the caravan to Texas.
Sunday December 27 -
We made it to Houston, saw Aunt Rita, and then got to see Luke and Hudson, my cousin Suzie and Brandon's 3 month old twins! THOSE BABIES ARE SO SWEET!!!!!!
Monday December 28-Wednesday December 30 -
We were in Houston, seeing family and old friends. Em and Luke headed back Tuesday cause they had to take care of their dogs.
Thursday December 31 -
We had spent the night in Rosebud, TX, where my grandma's house is. Went and saw her in the nursing home. Saw my uncle. Had Casa Ole and saw Sherlock Holmes (it's good, Jude Law is WONDERFUL, but I had trouble understanding Robert Downey Jr.). Then we went back to Mimi's and watched the ball drop. We ate pie and summer sausage and I fell asleep soon after.
Friday January 1 -
We trekked home, 14 hours in the car.
Saturday January 2 -
I did nothing. Literally. I read ebooks. I watched Dr. Who. I watched Avatar on my computer (WONDERFUL movie, I bet that takes everything as it should, except the version I saw had the Navi language subtitled in Greek so I don't know what they were saying at parts). I did pay my rent. But otherwise nothing. It was GLORIOUS.
Sunday January 3 -
Went to church. Put clothes away. Learned about my ereader. Watched brothers and sisters. Awesome.
Monday January 4 -
I'm back at work. Fianlly checked e-mail and caught up on stuff.
See how crazy it's been? And this isn't even detailing all the stuff we did in TX. It's insane.
But then when is my life not?
